Psychoeducational Evaluations

A Psychoeducational Evaluation can help you better understand how your child learns, thinks or feels to promote success in school. A typical evaluation assesses skills across academic, functional (attention, organization, planning, activities of daily living), cognitive (IQ/adaptive), and social emotional domains. Our goal is to figure out why your child might be struggling at school, and what kind of teaching or support will help them.

I will help you understand your child’s school needs, and will work with you to advocate with your child’s school or college. I will guide you through the daunting Section 504 and Special Education (IEP) processes.

Neurodivergent College Consulting

Choosing the right college can feel overwhelming—especially for students who learn or think differently. Alera’s college consulting services are designed specifically for neurodivergent students (including students with ADHD, autism, learning differences, anxiety, or executive functioning challenges). I guide families through every step of the process to ensure each student finds a college environment where they can thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.

The goal is to empower each student to move from high school to college with confidence, clarity, and the right supports in place.
